O.Kay, happy eid everyone :s
i just dont love eid, i have my reason which are simply we dont do anything on eid, my eids ends at 10:00 am.
every year is the same thing, mom tries not to go crazy screaming at us to get up, and dress up before her dads( my lovely sedo, greatest man on the earth) arrives, and then oh shit the bell rings and its him, so we get up, greets him as if eno "man u came early and we where about to dress up", lol he stayes for like 5 min and leaves. then we go back to bed or just sits in the living room munching on the choclate and ma'amoul we got just encase someone decides to pass by.
Oh and morning breakfast, which is supposed to be either humus, topped with small meat chunks and nuts or sheep guts fried with onions " yummy yum yum"...but mom never serves it :s so while everyone get stuffed on eid and christmas from eating non stop, at our house we suffer from hunger.
and one stupid trip to Zarqa on the second or third day to visit our aunts. ekh
so that whats its all about. every year the same thing.
ok now the new eid tradition is sucking up to sedo weeks before the eid just to get more money out of him and it worked HAHAHA.
but i have to admit this year was the best thanks to the cookie party :)
ok im turing to such a complainer here on my blog ooops, more joyfull posts coming up soon, i guess ;)

Manal, what fun it was to meet you AKHIRAAAN! I'm so glad cookies brought joy to your holiday. to be honest, I get a stomach ache after 3 ma3muul, but it takes about ten cookies to do it.
Do you really suck up to seedo for more money??? :D What a story about getting dressed while your mom is yelling, reminds me of me! Remember, you'll have nieces and nephews (AND KIDS!) doing the same thing one day!

Manal, so glad the party helped make your Eid a bit more happy. And, helped to stave off some of the hunger. We wouldn't want you to waste away to nothing (seriously girl, you're close enough as is!). Anytime Mom's put you on a involuntary hunger strike, come on over. We have chocolate chip pancakes nearly every morning...
